SUSPECTED SPIES
ARRESTED .IN FRANCE 1 (Australian Press Association.) , Paris, October 31. The arrest on an espionage charge of Luigi Nacazzini, an employee of the Italian Consulate at Lyons, and Pierre Vanelli, a naturalised Swiss, w-ho served in the French Army, has revealed a widespread spy organisation, it is believed with headquarters in Switzerland. Both are stated to have confessed and disclosed that one of the French Army secrets sought in the interests of another Power concerned the new Fi’ench Army described as “screened in motor vehicles.”
