CREDO. BY A WORKINGMAN. I believe in safety, first. Get the liquor traffic off .the highways of. life. I believe In a better stauthtril of living, in all the world’s good things; but am beginning to doubt If booze, in the end, is ti good thing. I believe in being happy naturally; in having a good time “Hie night, before,” without “the morning after.” Although l ean take a drink mid let it alone, I believe It would be better out of the way of those who cannot. I ain beginning to believe booze is the killjoy, and as a medicine whisky or wine Is a dud, for Hie weight of medical opinion is against alcohol taken promiscuously. I believe in giving my boys tt better chance in life. I am not a wowser, nor a crank, but just a plain John Citizen. I bcMleVe in a fair (leal for women and children which “booze” never gives 1 believe in commonsense, which booze never talks. “Proliih." and “Reformers” notwithstanding, my own commonsense tells me that Uncle Sum is on n good thing. He slicks to it. I believe that the U.S.A, elections will show that the people are delermin cd to maintain Prohibition, thus prov Illg Hie liquor traffic propaganda to be entirely false and misleading. ..JOHN CITIZEN.. —Advt.
