The annual meeting of the Masterton Swimming Club was held to-night, Mr. W. S. L. Dickson presiding. The election of officers resulted as follows: Patron, Mr. R. L. Drummond: president, Mr. W. L. L. Dickson; committee, Messrs. R. Jenkins, C. Johnston, L. Young, D. Pauling. D. Welch, G. Permain, A. V. Faulknor, L. G. Williams, R. Allan, F. G. Robbie, L. Smith, M. -Fly R. V. Faulknor, V. Jones: club captain, Mr. D. Welch; vice-captain, Mr. L. G. Williams: handicappers, Messrs. D. Pauling, D. Robbie; delegate to Wellington centre, Mr. N. McCartney; secretary and treasurer, Mr. H. Mackley; assistant secretary. Mr. A. Wintringham; auditor. Mr. F. J. Steel; delegate to Royal Life Saving Society, Mr. T. McHardy.
