From an unfinished break yesterday of 851, Walter Lindrum, playing Clark McConachy, in a match 18,000 up, took his break to 1461, a world’s record, beating Lindrum’s previous record of 1417. The scores at the end of the evening session were as followLindrum 5872. including breaks of 240, 158, and 12S unfinished; McConachy 4130 (breaks, 139, 100, and 236).
