BY-LAW AND CIVIL CASES By-law cases were dealt with by Mr. J. It. Salmon, 5.11., in the Magistrates Court yesterday. Kafaell Alfano was ordered to pay costs. 10s.. for preparing fish for sale in unlicensed premises. For overloading I heir taxi-cabs Leonard Hogan was fined £l, and Harry Cohen 10s Watson and Co. were lined £2 for not having a heavy traffic licenae. On charges of speeding, Harry hawtliorpe was fined £3 and Kenneth Brodie, and Albert E. IVebb £2 each. Failure to keep to the left cost waiter Davis £l. He was also fined 10s. for not having a driver’s license. I,caving their vehicles unattended cost Arthur G. Giddings. Herbert V. Clark. I’erclval F. Hodgson, William Sneddon, and Winston Willoughby £1 each. Elsie Gill was fined 10s. for parking her car more than twelve inches from theKeith Hanrahan was fined £1 for failing to keep to the left, and 10s. for not having a driver’s license. Frederick Jarman was fined £1 for cutting a corner. , ’Hula King and Frederick Mc?«abb were each fined 10s. for not having rear vision mirrors on tlieir vehicles. . For allowing stock to wander, Septimus Knight was fined £2 •Tames McGregor was fined 10s. Tor not having a warning device on his vehicle. .Speeding over an intersection cost Albert L. McKennie £3, and Walter Bowdon. £l. Hector Pearson was fined £2 for not having a litre license. Failure to have proper brakes on a motor vehicle cost E. C. Bussell and C.. Ltd., £l.
