FIGURES FOR OCTOBER When compared witli the figures for the corresponding period last year, the vital statistics for Wellington for the month ended yesterday show an increase in the number of deaths by 31, a decrease of 37 in the number of births, and an increase of three in the number of marriages before the registrar.
