The tour of Canada and the United States that lias been arranged by the Young Australia League promises to be one of the biggest this organisation has projected. The representative (Mr. J. Tucker), who lias visited most of the important centres of the North Island, will return to Wellington to-day to interview parents and select boys who have applied for inclusion. The New South Wales division of the league Jias invited the boys chosen from the Dominion to visit Sydney as their guests and spend live days there prior to embarkation. The applications from those between the ages of 14 and 17 years who desire to form the party will be received up (o November 20. Promptitude in applying is urged, as the party will leave Wellington for Sydney on December 18. The cost, including special clothing and pocket money for the six months’ tour, is about £230. The tour embraces visits to great industrial centres in the United States as well as in Canada. Tlie leader 'of the party (Mr. J. J. Simons) is keenly anxious to have a company of New Zealand boys attached to the party and is keeping vacancies for boys from the Dominion, so that the party will be a truly Anzac representation.
