FINANCIAL EXPERT TO ASSIST (British Ufficia Wireless.) Rugby, October 26. The following announcement has been made in India by the chairman of the Indian Statutory Commission: “In view of the importance and difficulty of the questions which will come before the Indian Statutory Commission relating to the Malston settlement and other subjects of Indian finances, which require impartial consideration, the Commission has invited Mr. Rayton to attend as financial assistant. Mr. Rayton, who is editor of the London newspaper ‘Economist,’ is making arrangements to leave London in December, and will be available to assist the Commission early in the New Year.”
