OFFICERS’ APPOINTMENTS. The following appointments and transfers of officers of the New Zealand Military Forces are gazetted:— Wellington Regiment. —Lieutenant J. de L. Lorimer, Ist Battalion, is transferred to the Auckland Regiment (Countess of Ranfurly’s Own). SecondLieutenant 11. A. McAulay, 2nd C Battalion, is transferred to the Hawke’s Bay Regiment. Quartermaster and Captain T. J. L. Buxton, Ist Battalion, to be Quartermaster and Major.

Hawke's Bay Regiment.—The undermentioned Second-Lieutenants to be Lieutenants, R. P. Wakelin. 3rd C Battalion; A. F. Peryer, Ist Battalion. Second-Lieutenant E. G. Latimer, Ist C Battalion, is posted to the 2nd C Battalion.

Nelson, Marlborough, and West Coast Regiment.—Second-Lieutenant F. E. Wilkes, Ist Battalion, is transferred to the Canterbury Regiment. New Zealand Medical Corps.—Lieutenant W. M. Cotter, M. 8.. is transferred to the Reserve of Officers. Lieutenant W. 11. B. Bull, M. 8., is attached for duty to the Central Depot, N.Z.M.C. Norman Charles Speight, M. 8., to be Lieutenant, and is posted to the Otago University Medical Company. New Zealand Veterinary Corps.-— Major E. E. Elphiek. M.R.C.V.S.. late of the Nelson.
