NELSON SPRING SHOW
Dominion Special Service. Nelson, September 20. The spring show of the Nelson Horticultural Society was opened this afternoon. The exhibition is generally up to the standard of recent years, and in some sections there is an advance shown. The display ot daffodils is particularly good, growers staging hundreds of blooms of the highest merit, several new varieties being seen. The following championships were awarded:—Champion trumpet, “Lord Roberts," Miss Cooke. Champion cup, “Springbok,” Mrs. G. Wastncy. Champion red cup, “Militant,” Mrs. G. Wastney.
