YEAR’S LOSS ON WORKING (Rec. September 19. 11.30 p.m.) Sydney, September 19. The State railways for the year ended June 30 carried ii 11.000.000 passengers. There was only one serious accident. The earnings totalled £19.029,512. The loss on working amounted Io £1.600.000.
