LADIES’ HOCKEY
TOURNAMENT FINALISTS. By Telegrapu.—Press Association. Tiniaru, September 7. There was splendid weather for the final day of sectional play in the New Zealand ladies’ championship hockey tournament. Southland is unbeaten in section 1. aud Canterbury, by defeating South Canterbury A, won section 2 without being beaten. South Canterbury put up a good fight against Canterbury, and play was very even throughout. Southland and Canterbury will meet in the final to-morrow. Results are as follow:—Rotorua (2), beat Otago B (0); Ruahine (4), beat Eastern A (2) ; Canterbury (1) beat South Canterbury A (0). '
