AUSTRALIAN BOUNTIES
IN SUPPORT OF INDUSTRIES By Telegraph.—Press Association. Canberra, September 6. The Minister of Trade and Customs announces that £789,187 was paid last year by the Federal Government in bounties for the support of Australian industries. Almost two-thirds of this sum was paid to wine makers, while the iron and steel interest received £243,628.
