It is reported (says the Dunedin “Slur”) that an Australian, firm, which makes a well-known brand of soap, intends to start manufacturing in New Zealand. Nothing definite has yet been made known in regard to the proposal, though it lias been suggested that Dunedin. because of its advnnatges to manufacturers, had been selected as the site of the factory.
