DISABLED RETURNED SOLDIERS
APPOINTMENT IN PUBLIC SERVICE. The case of the returned soldier who is prevented through war disabilities from obtaining permanent employment in the Public Service was raised in the House of Representatives yesterday by Mr. T. Forsyth (Wellington East). Air. Forsyth gave notice to ask the Prime Alinister to amend the existing regulations to enable such applicants to be eligible for permanent appointment. The Prime Alinister’s reply will be given later.
