!> POLICE, CIVIL, .AND BY-LAW CASES Police cases in the Magistrate's Court yesterday were heard before Mr. E. Page, S.M. On a charge of behaving in .a disorderly manner while drunk, John Joseph Corby, alias McGonville, aged 28. who had a list of thirteen previous convictions, was Cued £2, in default seven days’ imprisonment. A remand until September lb was granted to Hugh Angus Datson, a boilermaker, aged 52, who was charged with obtaining £5 by means of a false pretence. . BY-LAW CASES By-law cases were dealt with by Mr. J. 11. Salmon, S.M. William H. Robinson was fined £1 for passing a stationary tram. Failure to obtain a heavy traffic license cost William E. Bearn £2. William A. Morris was fined £1 for failing to obtain a hire license, and £2 for not obtaining a heavy traffic license. Charles V.
