SYDNEY WOOL SALES CONCLUSION OF FIRST SERIES, .Sydney, September 5. The wool sales of the first series have concluded. The second series will commence on September 17. Competition was well distributed, and the market unchanged, values being firmly maintained at the best point of recent sales. Shorter, doubtful-yielding fleece wools arc still irregular. Satisfactory clearances were made. Greasy merino sold to 26d.
