PREVENTION OF CRUELTY
MEETING OF WELLINGTON ASSOCIATION. The monthly meeting of the committee of the Wellington Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals was held on Tuesday, Mr. G. Mitchell presiding over a large attendance. The secretary reported that the Railway Department had had certain minor improvements .effected to the railway yards, and that they were now in good order. Information was received trom the Wanganui S.P.C.A. that they were calling a conference of New Zealand societies to be held in February next.
