COURT MAKES -AN ORDER
By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christchurch, September 4. In the Supreme Court. Mr. Justp'e Adams made an order adjudicating -is bankrupt John Black Batchelor, a missing solicitor. Counsel said that Batchelor had left the city to defeat or delay his ere: -s. Leonard Percival Voice, the p iing creditor, said, that lie had giv. to Batchelor to pay as purchase y on a house. The money had n a paid. Later, Batchelor had p:: a cheque for the amount, but this was dishonoured.
A police sergeant said that no trace had been found of Batchelor, though inquiries had been made all over New Zealand.
