REFORM CANDIDATE FOR. PAHIATUA By Tclegrapb.—Press Association. Woodville, September 4. Eighty-four Reform delegates, representative of the whole of the electorate, met at Woodville last .-night to select a candidate to contest the Pahiatua seat. A resolution of confidence in Mr. Coates wits carried unanimously, and the meeting selected Mr. George Harold Smith, a solicitor ot Pahiatua, as the Reform candidal e. Mr. A. MeNicol, who stood at the last three elections, declined nomination for business reasons. The meeting was a very enthusiastiftone. The lion. It. A. Wright. Minister of Education, also spoke.
