MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE MEETING. The Management Commitlee of the Wellington Rugby Union met. last night, Mr. J. Prendeville presiding. Curtain raisers for I lie WellingtonHawke's Bay match at Athletic Park on .Saturday were fixed as Johnsonville v. Oriental, whieh is the final of the senior B knock-out competition, and Greytown B Poncke juniors. These latter teams are each champions in their own unions. Petone intermediate and third grade teams were awarded the championships in each champions in their own grades. Permission was granted to the Maori members of the Porirua Club to play the Rotorua Club, provided a manager is appointed. The game will be played at Mantiin. September 8. Thanks were received from the Home of Compassion for a grant of £lO on the occasion of a recent "Charity Saturday” from the Rugby Union. Letters acknowledging receipts of donations to the Mayors’ unemployment funds were received from the Petone and Lower Hutt Borough Councils,
