Wallis received a wireless mess, age yesterday, from the City of Batavia, cn route from New York, stating tliat the vessel will arrive at Auckland at 6 olclock this morning. She is due at AVellington about next AVcduesday. PORT DARWIN LEAVES LIVERPOOL. Cabled news has been received by the C. and D. Line that the Port Darwin sailed from Liverpool on Sunday with general cargo to discharge at Auckland, AVellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. The vessel is due at Auckland on October 14, and at AVellington a week later. lONIC LEAVES BALBOA. CARGO FROM MONTREAL. A cable message to the Canadian National Steamships reports that the Canadian Winner sailed from Montreal on August 31 with general cargo to discharge at Auckland and AVellington. Tho vessel is dne at Auckland on October 14, and at AVellington a week later.

THE PORT BOAVEN. The C. and D. Line steamer Port Bowen left AVellington late last night for AVanganui roadstead to complete loading. She is now timed to sail from Wangauui tomorrow night for London Avonmouth, Glasgow, and Liverpool, via Panama. Mesdames Cave and Baker, of Auckland, are accompanying the ship as passengers. Dr. V. R. Nicholson, of AA r ellington, is proceeding as ship’s surgeon.

THE GALLIC. The Shaw, Savill, and Albion Co. report that the Gallic arrived In the Wanganui roadstead at 10 a.m. yesterday from New Plymouth. She next will proceed to A\ ellington, and is due here onx Saturday morning. The Gallic will leave Wellington on Monday for Napier.

SYDNEY STEAMERS. The Ulimaroa arrived at Auckland yesterday morning from Sydney, and _ will leave again on the return trip on Friday. The Maheno, from Auckland, arrived at Sydney yesterday morning. She is to leave again at noon on Friday for AVellington, and is due here next Tuesday. The Manama, from AVellington, also arrived at Sydney yesterday morning, and will leave on Friday for Auckland. MANUKA LEAVES MELBOURNE. Cabled news has been by the Union Company that the Manuka left Melbourne at 10.20 a.m. yesterday for AVellington direct. She is due here on Sunday and will leave next Tuesday for Melbourne via Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Bluff. VANCOUVER MAIL SERVICE. The Aorangi, from Vancouver, via Honolulu, is due at Suva to-morrow and at Auckland on Sunday. She leaves at p.m. the following day for Sydney direct. ;The Niagara, from> Sydney, via Auckland and Suva, is due at Honolulu oil r rlday and at Vancouver on September 14.

SAN FRANCISCO MAIL SERVICE. The Makura will leave Sydney at 4 p.m. to-morrow for San Frantcisco, via AVellington, Rarotonga, and Papeete, and is due at Wellington on Monday morning. The Maunganui Will leave San 1 rancisco to-day for Sydney, via Papeete, Rarotonga and Wellington. She is due at Papeete on September 15 and at on September 24.

ISLAND SERVICES. The Tofua will leave Auckland at 11 a.m. on Saturday for Fiji, Tonga and Samoa. The Moeraki will leave Sydney at 3 p.m., to-day for Lautoka, Suva, Levuka, and go thence to Suva, Noumea, and Sydney. She is due at Lautoka on September 11. The AValpalii arrived at Rarotonga at 4.30 p.m. on Sunday from Altutaki, and sailed on Monday for Auckland, where she is due on September 11.

TRANS-PACIFIC CARGO SERVICE. Tho Waihemo, from Melbourne, arrived at Sydney at 10 p.m. on Monday, and will clear Newcastle to-morrow for Vancouver, via Fiji, to load during October for Auckland, Wellington, Melbourne, and Sydney. The AValruna, en route from Pacific Coast, cleared Papeete yesterday morning for Auckland, and will go thence to Napier, Lyttelton, Dunedin, and New Plymouth. She is due at Auckland on September 14. The AVaiotapu left Los Angeles- at O.eO p.m. on Sunday last for AA’ellington, Melbourne, and Sydney. She is due at AVellington oq September 28. The Walkawa, from San Francisco, arrived at Los Angeles at 10 a.m. on Monday, and will proceed thence to Apia, Auckland, Nelson, Bluff, Melbourne, and Sydney. She is due at Apia on September 20 and nt Auckland on September 30. The- Hauraki. from Ocean Falls, via Powell River, will clear A'ancouver on September 8 for San Francisco direct, and thence to Los Angeles on September 14 to complete loading for Auckland. Dee, second officer of the Otokia, lias left the vessel this trip, having resigned from the Union Company’s service. MISCELLANEOUS. The Papanui is to sail from Dunedin this afternoon for Port Kembla.
