FREEZING WORKS’ AWARD
COMPANIES TO ASK FOR AMENDMENT, By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christchurch, August 2. The freezing companies in New Zealand have informed the district unions that they intend to seek an amendment of the freezing workers’ award. 'lke Pl'oposed alterations mostly deal fith conditions of work. The companies’ claims will be heard in Wellington on August 23 and 24, and in Christchurch probably some days earlier.
