NEW ZEALAND BOWLERS
DEFEAT SYDNEY METROPOLITAN. .By Telegraph.—Frees Association. Sydney, August 2. Two rinks of New Zealand bowlers defeated Sydney Metropolitan players on the Balmain green by 37 to 33. New Zealand rinks: Davis, Scott, Reid, Nash, 23—10; Pulling, Guthire, Casey, Ball, .13—22. The visitors were entertained by the association’s president, Mr. Scott, who announced his intention of going to the New Zealand carnival in Wellington in January, The Australian bowlers there will be represented by six rinks in the Tests, one rink representaaive of each State.
