MISSING AUCKLANDER
NO DEFINITE NEWS Dominion Special Service. Auckland, August 2. There lias been no definite news of Frederick C. Jackson, of Parnell, up till to-day. Jackson, who is secretary of’the Auckland branch of the League of Nations, left his home at 8.30 a.m. on Saturday morning, and search has been made for him without result. It has been reported Unit some schoolboys thought they saw Jackson in (lie vicinity of Buckland Road on .Monday. He looked a sick man ami had two or three days growth of beard on his face. Ihe man complained that he was "exhausted and could not walk much further.” . 11. is thought by Jacksons relatives that he is suffering from loss of memory. He had been under treatment. by a doctor. Jackson is prominent in the Workers' Educational Association circles, where he Ims lectured on economies, and is an instructor in woodwork for (he Education Department. For some time lie had been teaching classes nt Newmarket, and at the time of his disappearance was relieving jit Koliimtirmmt. Jackson’s age is 3<>.
