A hare drive by a party of 40 Oamaru and Hnkatarainea sportsmen was held on tlie New Zealand and Australian Land Company’s property at Hakatnraraea reeenllv. when 215 Imres were bagged (reports tlie "Times”). This was the third drive within lhe last few weeks on the properly, ami nearly 1000 hares have been taken. 'The hares are sent to Dunedin ami sold by the commercial travellers in aid of the Pearson fund for the blind.
