<, • An exceptional opportunity for skilled Instruction in singing to teachers and students is provided by the announcement that Mr. Fraser Gauge, the eminent English baritone, is prepared to give tuition in Wellington lor a limited period. Mr. Gauge was >i co-teacher in London with Miss Amy Sherwin, and iu 1919 was invited to.become a professor of singing at the Royal Academy of Music, London, by "Its then principal. Sir Alexander Mackenzie. On returning to England from his 1920 four lie.was elected an honorary .R.A.M.. and only terminated his connection with that institution when he left for ‘America io fulfil concert engagements there. In the United States he has taught at many of the loading schools of music. Mr; Gauge’s time in the Dominion Is limited, as he is to return to America shortly, but he feels that he may serve a useful'purpose bv giving lessons to seriousminded singers, teachers and students.
