ARRANGEMENTS FOR DELIVERY. Dominion Special Service. Auckland. July 17. From Shanghai there arrived by the Marama to-day 48 . Chinamen who are to be placed aboard the Whangape, which the Union Company has sold, together with the Karori, to the Chinese shipping firm of Moller and Co., with headquarters at Shanghai. An extended life of usefulness is predicted for these well-known cargo steamers. The Whangape is now being overhauled at Auckland and will shortly leave for ISamorindo, Borneo, to load logs for Shanghai. The Karori is at Wellington. The Marama also had on board Air. Eric Moller, of the purchasing firm, who has come out to attend to the business side of the transaction.
