GRENFELL OF LABRADOR
KNIGHTHOOD CONFERRED BY THE KING ' (British Official Wireless.) Rugby, July 15. Dr. Wilfred Grenfell, well known for his missionary work in Labrador and Newfoundland, was received by the King at Buckingham Palace yesterday. His Majesty conferred upon him the honour of Knight Commander of St. Michael and St. George. Dr. Grenfell has spent 25 years in ministering to seamen and other inhabitants in wild Labrador, where iie wqs qualified to act, as occasion demanded, as missionary, surgeon, master mariner and magistrate.
