STEAMERS COLLIDE
HEAT FOG IN ENGLISH CHANNEL (British Official Wireless.) - Rugby. July 15. A heat fog in the Channel caused the German steamer Augsburg, of 7000 tons, to collide with the Italian steamer Miirlgola. seven miles south-west of Dover. The Augsburg afterwards collided with the wall ot Dover Harbour, doing much damage, and is now aground on Chalk Rock, east of the port, with her bows smashed in.
