TOBACCONIST’S SHOP BURGLED
GOODS WORTH £2O STOLEN.

Christchurch. July 14
On Thursday night thieves broke into and robbed the tobacconist's shop of Mr. .1. W. Townsend, at 455 Ferry Hoad. Tobacco and other goods to a value of over £2O were stolen, in addition to a few shillings from the till. A panel on the door was broken to effect on entrance.
