USE OF FIREARMS BY POLICE
NEW PRUSSIAN DECREE (Australian Press As?n.—United Service 1 (Roc. July 15, 5.5 p.m.) Berlin, July 13. On no account shall children lie fired at, says a new police decree issued by the Prussian Ministry of the Interior, in pointing out that tbe police employ revolvers somewhat recklessly. They are entitled to lire if lives arc in danger. or an arrested criminal tries to escape after the warning “Hands up, or I fire!”
It is hoped that the police will no longer fire in attempting to stop persons guilty of trivial offences from escaping.
