PAHIATUA NOTES
Miss Gordon, of Rock Road, Fahiatua, is visiting Australia. Mrs. A. Nelson, Pori, has returned home after spending a holiday in Koto’UMr. and Mrs. Dicisbury have been visiting Palmerston North. . ■ A merry dance was given at the Masonic Hall, Fahiatua, on Wednesday night, in honour of Mr. g. Wilson, who, after four years in Fahiatua, has been transferred to Waipukuyau. He was presented by Mr. Tulloch with a ease of pipes and a tobacco pouch on behalf of )iis many friends. The hostesses responsible for the dance were Mesdames Boyd and A. Tulloch and Misses Chatwin, Fox and Badger. Among those present were: Mesdames P. Tulloch, Graham, Tinney, Scandrett. Siddells, Herbert, W. D. Taylor, and F. Thomson, and Misses Arrow, J. Taylor, Boyd (3), Tankersley, Hamlin, Swainson', VowCll ' (Palmerston North), E. Taylor, and Kefldell (2).
