CHILD SERIOUSLY INJURED
■ Dominion Special Service. Auckland, July 9. Grave injuries to her head were received by Joan Lauri, aged 3 years, as the result of being struck by a motorcar as she was crossing a street at Unehungn. The child was removed to the Auckland Hospital suffering from severe concussion of the brain. Her condition was reported to be very serious.
