POLICY ADOPTED BY MINERS’ CONVENTION
STRIKES DISASTROUS TO RANK AND FILE
Sydney, June 20.
The Miners’ Convention sitting at Sydney passed the following resolution
Realising that strikes and continued short stoppages react dis, astronsly on the rank and file in the mining industry, this convention adopts conciliation as the future policy. The convention, however, reserves the right of industrial action in the event of any industrial dispute. .
