HOUSEBREAKER PLEADS GUILTY
COMMITTED FOR SENTENCE. BV I'EhEGKAFH I’BESS ASSOCIATION. Christchurch, May 22. Henry Patrick .Moore, aged thirtyeight vears, pleaded guilty in the Magistrate's Court to eight charges of breakiing and entering various houses earlv this mouth and committing theft. The’ police said the accused travelled round as a tinker. He broke leadlights over doors or windows, and then loosed the catches.- In all he had taken £lO9 worth of goods and jewellery from the eight houses. He was caught iu the act in a Sydenham house. Accused was committed for sentence. No bail was applied for.
