CHARGE OF BREAKING AND ENTERING
ALLEGED OFFENCE NINE YEARS AGO

Christchurch, May 12.
John William McClure was to-day remanded to appear at Palmerston North on a charge of breaking and entering a school at Feilding iu 1919. The police said that McClure was yesterday admitted to probation by the Supreme Court on charges of theft. In the evening he asked to be allowed to clear up a lot more, and to make a statement. On leaving the dock. McClure said: “I'm not as mad as they think.”
