AUSTRALIAN DEPORTED
$ UNDESIRABLE IMMIGRANT. Michael Joseph Leonard Lalor, a labourer, aged 20, pleaded guilty in the Magistrate’s Court to being a prohibited immigrant in that he had come to New Zealand within two years of seiwing a term of imprisonment in Australia, was deported by the Manuka, which left Wellington for Melbourne on Saturday. Accused, who since he arrived in the Dominion had served a term of “£. ee months’ imprisonment in the South Island for receiving stolen property, was ordered by Mr. E. Page, S.M., to be placed on the. Manuka and returned to Melbourne.
