Mr. Justice Frazer returned to Wellington yesterday from Auckland and Hamilton, where he has been engaged in Arbitration Court work.

Dr. L. K. Crow, of Wellington, and late of Auckland Hospital, will leave by Ihe Hororata on an extended visit to England for post graduate experience.

The Public Works engineer (Mr. F. T. M. Kissel) returned to Wellington from the South yesterday morning. Mr. A. E. Davy, Dominion organiser for the United Party, who has been arranging the party's candidates in the Auckland Province, is expected to return to Wellington on Tuesday.

Mr. 11. E. Chester, IL A., Lond., A.H.A.M., who will conduct practical examinations in New Zealand this year on behalf of the Associated Board, H.A.M. and R.C.M., was born in Winnipeg, Canada. He received his musical education in Brussels, and won the first prize of the Brussels Conservatoire in 1914. He rontinued his studies at the Royal Academy of Music, London, where he became first a sub-professor in 1918, obtaining several prizes for composition and elocution, and later in 1926 was appointed one of the professors of pianoforte. Amongst other appointments held by Mr. Chester is that of lecturer in appreciation of music for the London County Council, and he is also honorary secretary of the Music Teachers’ Association. lie will reach Wellington early in October.
