WELLINGTON V. MIRAMAR
Teams representing the Wellington and Miramar Golf Clubs tried conclusions on Saturday, the A teams at Hertaunga and the B teams at Mirapiar. Wellington won by 12 games to 10, twp games being all square. Following are the detailed results, Miramar players mentioned first:— A TEAMS AT HERETAUNGA. H. A. Black lost to A. D. S. Duncan, 2 and 1. J. L. Retley lost to I. Mac Ewan, 3 and 2. A. A. Stitchbury lost to D. O. Whyte, 2 ami 1. L. D. Hurst beat J. B. Parker, 2 and 1. S. Gambrill beat K, D. Duncan, 4 and 3. N. R. Jacobsen lost to J. T. Tucker, 5 and 3. N. A. Arthur lost to J. W. Ward, 5 and 4. H. E. H. Aplin lost to E. O. Hales, 4 and 3. E. 11. Liddle beat O. J. Wilson, 1 up. C. T. Caul ton lost to R E. Tolhurst, 2 and 1.
P. D. Daniel beat E. Page, 2 and 1. J. R. E. Bennett lost to . . P. F. Blundell, 1 down. B TEAMS AT MIRAMAR Ward beat Ashford, 2 and 1. Murray lost to .Smith, 3 and 2. Scott and Sclanders, all square. Page beat Dawson, 4 and 3. Frost lost to Bruce, 3 and 2. Crombie beat Bay, 1 up. Marsden beat Sutton, 5 and Westbrook and Longuet, all square. White-Parsons beat Marchbanks, 8 and 7. Armstrong beat Klrkby, 1 up Rooke lost to Ward, 2 and 1. Wynyard lost to Bell, 6 and 4. HUTT V. RANUI Hutt and Ranui Clubs’ teams met at Hutt. The results were as follow. Hutt players mentioned first:Roberts beat Dunlop, 5 and 4. Kirker beat Sandham, 2 up. London lost to Whitehead, 1 down. McKenna beat Sloane, 2 and 1. Games beat Warwick, 7 and 6. Scott beat Denker, 5 and 3. T. Wagg and Richardson, all square Andrews beat F. Smith, 6 and 5. Ellerm beat Gishart, 4 and 3. Gordon beat Fowler, 6 and 5. Hutt won 8 games, Ranui won 1 game, 1 game all square. On the Ranui links Hutt (holders) were beaten by Ranui in the Nathan Cup competition.
N. BELL BECOMES PROFESSIONAL

Hamilton, May 5.
Norrie Bell, jun.. a leading amateur golfer, has turned professional. He was runner-up in the New Zealand open championship, and reached the semifinals in the amateur championship last year. He was seven times Hamilton champion, seven times Waikato champion and three times South Auckland champion.
