COOLIDGE REFUSES TO HOLD FOR FOUR YEARS (Rec. March 22, 5.5 p.m.) Washington, March 21. President Coolidge, in reply to a resolution passed bv the Republican State Central Committee of Wyoming, declined to accede to the committee’s wish that he waive his personal preference and consent to continue for an additional four years’ leadership, which had brought honour and. prosperity to the country. The President’s secretary said: “The President has directed me to say that he must decline to giant the request of the committee.”
