TEACHERS’ APPOINTMENTS.

Wanganui, March 22. The Wanganui Education Board met last night, Mr. W. A. Collins presiding. The following appointments were confirmed:—Mataroa, Mr. S. A. Elder, assistant; Kohi, Mr. E. S. Fletcher, asastant; Fitzherbert East, Mr. M. E. Sinclair, assistant; Owhakura, Mr. C. C. Day, sole teacher; Maungaroa Road, Mr. L. H. Joblin, sole teacher; Moawhanga, Mr. M. J. Balmer, sole teacher, Taihape, Mr. E. M. Billing, assistant; Manunui. Mr. L. R. Roberts, assistant, Foxton (side school), Mr. T. Chipper, assistant; Parewanui, Mr. J. S. Daniell, sole teacher; Manchester Street, Mr. M. R. Miers, assistant; Gonville, Mr. D P. Thurston, head teacher. The following resignations had been received since the previous meeting. Mr G C.
