"F.W.” writes: Just a few lines in reference to “G.N.’s” letter in your issue of 13th inst. He implies untruth to my story of the Hindu and Christian missionary. I will not in the face of what lie has said, say to him that it is true; but it is line to you, Mr. Editor, I think, to state definitely that it is so, and that I would not abuse the liberty you have allowed me by stating an untruth in your columns in a serious discussion. Discussing tho administration of Samoa, “Good Government” suggests that a man with experience of administration such as the Mayor or an ex-Mayor of one of our cities, who is usually a capable business or professional man. should be able to fill the position of Administrator of Samoa with satisfaction to all concerned.
