MADAME MENERE’S HINTS ON FURS. When cleaning dark- furs, says Madame Menere, secure some clean sand from the beach, if possible, and wash it well. Then put it on a tray and heat in the oven until blood warm Next lay the fur on the table, fur side up, and sprinkle portion of the sand over the parts to be cleaned. Now rub the sand well into the fur with the hands with a rotary motion and the hot sand will act as blotting paper, absorbing the grease and dirt.—Advt.
