RUN OVER BY LORRY A business man is now lamenting his precipitate haste in crossing the street before looking to see whether the way was clear. So intent was he on filling his pipe that he was brushed aside by a passing lorry, and, to his dismay, he dropped his tobacco, which was irretrievably crushed by the back whe.ls The lorry driver at first was inclined to be abusive, but when he learnt that it was a packet of Bears’ Tobacco that bad been lost he was verv sympathetic, for, being a Hears smoker, he knew what a delicious Virginian blend it is.
