WAR IN CHINA
NATIONALISTS SUFFER REVERSES (Rec. February 16, 8.55 p.m.) Shanghai, February 15. The Nationalists have suffered severe reverses in the vicinity of Shasi during Yangtse fighting. Simultaneously Sun Chuan Fang, the erstwhile overlord of Shanghai and five south-eastern provinces, launched an attack on the northern front in the vicinity of I'smpu. Heavy fighting is. reported at Hsu Chowfu, the objective being a strategic point on the Tientsin-Pukow railway.
