PLIMMERTON NOTES
Last week the local Bowling Club plaved the visitors in two rinks, Pliniinertou winning on the aggregate score by 4 points, and on Wednesday last two rinks of the local club played the visitors again, Plimmertou proving too good once more. A men’s doubles and ladies’ doubles Yankee lawn tennis tournament was held last week, and was won as follows;—Men’s doubles: A Grade, M. Martin and L Burnham; B grade, Master C. Barlow and Mr. Murphy. Ladies’ doubles: Miss Chadwick and Miss Kirk In the previous ladies’ doubles tournament Miss Martin and Miss Kirk drew with' Miss Chadwick and Miss Lutsky for top place.
