WELLINGTON SOUTH CIRCUIT. The quarterly meeting of the Wellington South Circuit was held on Monday last, when the Rev. A. N. Scoffer, 8.A., presided over a representative attendance of officials. Congratulations were extended to . the chairman on his safe return from the Solomon Islands, and he was thanked for'his remarks concerning his trip. The report on young people’s work was satisfactory, Trinity Sunday school showing an increase in number, and Island Bav having started a new Young Men’s Junior Bible Class. Arrangements were begun for the harvest festival services in March, Island Bay on the 11th and Trinity on the 18th - t* The Home Mission secretary, Air. S. T. Alartin. reported that £lO7 Bs. had been collected for this fund, and Air. A. Alartin, the Foreign Mission secretary, reported that £l6l _3s. Id. had been raised for foreign missions. Both were congratulated and reappointed pro tern. , . ■ , Alessrs. H. Dixon, S. T. Martin, and R. A. FergtfSon were elected as representatives to the District Executive. Sister Winifred Beaumont was engaged as deaconess, to commence duty from the beginning of April.
