Detectives boarded a steamship from Australia at ,Tilbury’ Docks and interviewed a seaman concerning happenings on board during the outward voyage"lt is understood that new and important facts have thus come into the possession of the police regarding the sensational murder of Police-Con-stable Gutteridge, whose body was discovered beside the road with a number of bullet wounds.
