TRANSPORT WORKERS’ PICNIC
— e The transport workers’ picnic will be held at ' Trentham racecourse on Wednesday. The Waterside Workers’, Drivers’, Seamen and Marine Cooks’ and Stewards’ Unions will participate in the one big event. A band will be present and a long programme of sports and competitions for all ages is being prepared. Hot water and milk will be available and timetable of trains to and from Trentham at frequent intervals is advertised.
